Results from the first post

So the first post was up on craigslist for six days.  During those six days, five people responded.  All of them responded during the first two days the ad was posted.  The ad that was posted was as follows:

       Let's beat the snow and go out for coffee - m4w - 27

       So I'm a 27 yr old guy looking to meet new people. Maybe we
       could hang out at square1 or somewhere.  No pressure, no
       expectations, let's just live in the moment and go from there.

A couple responders gave instant messenging information, one gave a url to a questionable dating website and one claimed that she was using her friend's email.  Another responder had a fishy email header.  The reply-to address was different than the address that she sent the email from.  Interestingly enough, none of the responders made any reference to local events or places.

Conclusion:  Even though I did not continue correspondence with any of the responders, I believe all of them were fake.  The next ad will be posted in the same city, but will not mention any local places.
